Beat the Manual is a game created by Martin which involves complex technical questions on operations and flight mechanics. The answers need to be precise, with Martin refusing to give Douglas the point for 200 Knots, when the correct answer is 204 Knots. Douglas only agreed to play after forcing Martin to play Flight Deck Buckaroo, which he hates.
The game uses both manuals, both of which Martin has memorised.
